Monday-Friday; 6am-until work is completed Job Summary Description The Delivery Merchandiser - Small Store Trainee is responsible for delivering and rotating stock.
Also responsible for merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards.
Roles and Responsibilities o Transports and unloads products to retail outletso Responsible for merchandising all product inside the outlet to Company standardso Works in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success.
Establish positive relationships with all customers, as well as providing superior customer serviceo Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they ariseo Ability to work with all functional team memberso Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displayso Communicates any store level issue to managemento Complies with DOT rules for driving purposeso Maintains rapport with customerso Collection of any breakage or out of date product, including empty shells and palletso Accurate accounting for all cases and customer transactionso Ensure proper care of product, equipment, and route settlement dailyo Deliver, rotate, and merchandise product on shelf, displays and all cold equipmento Maintains backstock in an organized mannero Keeps coolers, racks, and shelves cleano Assist with training, coaching, succession planning of any delivery merchandiser traineeso Build strong relationships with customer base across assigned customersRequirements o Minimum of 21 years oldo Ability to obtain Class A Commercial Driver's License within 90 days and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policyo Class A Commercial Driver's License or permit required, with the ability to obtain CDL within 90 days and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policyo The ability to maintain DOT physical requirementso Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policieso Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobo Ability to read, write and speak Englisho Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelineso Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assetso Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyo Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
